Digital Power Plant

The nowadays renovated Digital Power Plant in Ózd, Hungary, is a great tribute to what this building once was.

Dating back to the first half of the 20th century, this massive reinforced concrete structure was the power plant for the entire region of Ózd. Having the opportunity to photograph it was as exciting as it was intriguing. Large concrete pillars and I steel beams contrast with the subtle modern design that fills its interior.
