Lava Center

Located in the in the town of Hvolsvöllur, the Lava Center is a one of a kind exhibition building.
With its wooden facades and big open windows, the design is nothing like the south coast of Iceland has ever seen before.

Photographing this building was a unique experience. The reflection of the sky on the windows created a perfected harmony between the surrounding landscape and the building.
